OH, HAPPY DAY

It's always so nice and relaxing to go for coffee with friends. Helsinki is so pretty on Christmas time because of all the beautiful fairy lights. Now we have our Christmas break so we actually have time to do something else than school work. Hope you all enjoy the holidays!

WEIHNACHTSMÄRKTE IN BERLIN

Since there are so many Christmas markets, lots of decorations and Christmas trees on every corner, we started to get that Christmas feeling. Time just flies so fast. We can't believe Christmas is already next week! 

There are so many Christmas markets in Berlin and fairy lights literally on every corner. During our stay there we saw plenty of Christmas markets, which are really worth seeing. Christmas markets have stalls selling all sorts of gifts, decorations, sweets and mulled wine. It was so nice to stroll around there. We also bought some cute gingerbread hearts for our friends :)

COFFEE O'CLOCK

How perfect would it be to get coffees to go before breakfast every morning? That's unfortunately impossible as we have to get to school before the sun even rises. That's why it's, however, maybe even more delightful to do that in the holiday.

There was Starbucks right opposite our hotel so we bought soy lattes there and walked with them along the Kurfürstendamm. We also stopped to take some pictures before heading to East-Berlin for breakfast. 

Wie schön wäre es, jeden Tag vor dem Frühstück einen Kaffee zu holen? Das ist leider in unserem Alltag unmöglich aber daher ist es vielleicht noch schöner, das im Urlaub zu machen. 

Gegenüber unserem Hotel gab es eine Starbucks wo wir Kaffees gekauft haben und mit denen am Kurfürstendamm gegangen sind. Danach sind wir mit dem Bus und U-Bahn nach Ostberlin gefahren, um dort zu frühstücken :)

WHEN IN BERLIN...

Kurfürstendamm is just perfect street for taking pictures among shopping. The buildings are so pretty and the fairy lights make the atmosphere christmassy. We both had already found some new clothes so we stopped to take some outfit pics with them before heading to East Berlin for breakfast.

HALLO BERLIN

Hello from Berlin! At Christmas time Berlin is so beautiful because of all the Christmas markets,  lights and Christmas trees on every corner. Our exam week just ended so this was the perfect time for a little holiday. We flew to Berlin just to relax, see the sights and Christmas markets. Berlin is just perfect with great weather, perfect city sights and...plenty of good food. 

There's so much to do in Berlin. During the first day we just strolled around the city and enjoyed the sights. We saw for example Brandenburger Tor, Alexanderplatz and Museum Island. In the evening we went  shopping to Mall of Berlin and of course we found some cute clothes for us. 

Our hotel was in Kurfürstendamm and the location was also perfect for shopping, hahah ;) We took a lot of pictures during our stay and we will definitely share them with you!

Hallo aus Berlin! Zur Weihnachtszeit ist Berlin besonders schön wegen Weihnachtsmärkte. Wir hatten gerade unsere Prüfungswoche gehabt so es war ein perfekter Zeitraum eine kleine Reise dorthin zu machen. 

In Berlin gibt es sehr viel zu tun. Am ersten Tag sind wir einfach die Stadt mit dem Bus rumgefahren und haben viele Sehenswürdigkeiten gesehen, u.a. das Brandenburger Tor, den Alexanderplatz und die Museumsinsel. Danach sind wir zum Mall of Berlin shoppen gegangen. 

Wir haben in einem Hotel am Kurfürstendamm übernachtet so  deswegen haben wir natürlich auch viel Zeit da in verschiedenen Geschäften verbracht, haha.  

Wir haben richtig viele Fotos gemacht und werden noch viele Blogposts von Berlin machen :)

Wir haben eine gemütliche Café in der Nähe von Ku´damm gefunden, wo wir einen späteren Frühstück genießen konnten.
We found a really cute cafe near Kurfürstendamm. We enjoyed our late breakfast there.

Draußen war es ziemlich kalt so deswegen war es praktisch viel Zeit beim Shoppen zu verbringen, haha.
In the evening we went shopping, because it was so cold outside, hahah.

SNOW IN THE AIR

Snow makes everything look so beautiful. Yesterday the sun was shining and it felt like winter although it's supposed to be autumn and November, which usually means rain and darkness in Finland.  It was pretty cold (around -10 degrees Celsius) but we still wanted to take some wintry photos outside.  Now we just hope that the snow won't melt before Christmas! :)
