OUR FAVORITE PLACE IN PRAGUE

In this case too, pictures will tell you more than a thousand words, how beautiful the area of Prague castle is. There's also our favourite place to take outfit pics in Prague. All the colourful houses, flowers and cobblestone streets make a cute background for photos. The view from the hill is also worth seeing. We decided to have a little coffee break at Starbucks, which is located right next to Prague castle and has probably better view than any other Starbucks.

FIRST STOP PRAGUE

To begin our little journey in Europe we flew to Prague few weeks ago. We spent there two days, just walking around and enjoying the sunny weather. In the summertime Prague is quite crowded and especially the most popular tourist attractions were full of tourists (Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, the Old Town Square and the Astronomical clock, etc.)

Anyway, that didn't bother us since we had already seen all the most important sights so we just strolled around and took lots of pictures, as usual. And Prague really is a perfect city for that because there are beautiful buildings everywhere and cute small alleys and gardens.

BACK IN FINLAND

Hey everybody!

We've been quite busy lately so we haven't have time to write our blog (actually we've just been having fun while traveling in Europe, haha). But now since we're back in Finland we don't have any better things to do. So it's time to get back in business :)

STROLLING AROUND IN BRNO, CZECH

Although it's already two weeks after we came back from Czech, we still have so many unpublished pictures from our trip, haha. We spent two nights in Brno, which was a bit smaller city about 200 kilometers south from Prague. In Brno we didn't buy any tickets for tram so we just strolled around by foot. We found some vegan cafés where we had cakes and breakfast.

HRAD ŠPILBERK

One day in Brno was so rainy that we didn't want to go out at all, haha. In the morning we went for breakfast and then we strolled around the town with our bright red umbrellas. We found some cute boutiques and cafés. After couple of hours we found our selves in a big shopping centrum called Vankovka. 

Because of all the walking and rain we were so tired that we headed back to our hotel room. Luckily the weather turned out to be better in the evening than it was on day time. We decided to go to the castle of Brno. It was different than the castle in Prague. The Brno castle is called hrad Špilberk and it was built around mid-13th century on a hill (like most castles in Europe usually). We walked up the hill which was about 300 meters high and we could see the whole Brno from there :)

FALL / WINTER BASICS

After we had visited the most famous tourist sights in Prague, like the Prague castle, Charles bridge and old time square, we wanted to go stroll around the city. In the morning we headed to the downtown and found  pretty  streets, which Teresa (who has been in Prague many times) hadn't seen before.

After couple of hours of exploring Prague we wanted to go somewhere for lunch but then we found so cute raw café that we decided to have cake for lunch, haha:) After that we headed to the shopping center.

Unfortunately the weather wasn't as good as on the weekend when we arrived. It got a little bit colder and it was also raining a bit but we didn't let that ruin our days in Prague.
