TILL THE NEXT TIME, GERMANY!

Kuukausi Saksassa on nyt kulunut ja saavuin eilen illalla takaisin Suomeen. On ihana olla taas kotona   ja nauttia lomasta pari päivää ihan rauhassa tekemättä mitään. Kuukausi kului toisaalta aika nopeasti, mutta toisaalta kesän alusta tuntuu olevan ikuisuus. Kuukauden aikana sain kokea paljon kaikenlaista: opin uusia tapoja ja tutustuin moniin uusiin ihmisiin. Vaikka kesävaihtoni on nyt ohi, toivon että yhteys uusiin ystäviini säilyy. Maailma on onneksi internetin takia nykyään niin pieni, että ystäviä voi hyvin olla vaikka toiselta puolelta maailmaa. En tule koskaan unohtamaan, kuinka hieno kokemus kuukausi minulle oli ja aion varmasti matkustaa Saksaan uudestaan.

Kollaaseihin on koottu kuvia minulle parhaiten mieleen jääneistä asioista ja kuvia ja kerrottavaa olisi vielä vaikka kuinka paljon... Suosittelen lyhempää tai vaikka pidempääkin vaihtoa kaikille, sillä ainakin itselleni kuukausi oli ainutlaatuinen kokemus ja paremman saksan kielen lisäksi opin paljon sellaisia asioita, joita en voisi oppia missään muualla. 

My exchange month in Germany has come to an end and I arrived back in Finland yesterday evening.  It's so nice to be home again and enjoy holiday for a couple of days just relaxing. The month passed quite quickly but then it feels like the beginning of the summer holiday was so long time ago. I got to do and experience so many things during the month: I learned new habits and got to know lots of new people. Although my summer exchange is over now, I hope I can keep the connection with my new friends. The world is fortunately so small nowadays (thanks to Internet) so it's easier to have friends even on the other side of the world. I will never forget how wonderful experience last month was for me and I'll definitely go back there some day. So waiting for the next time, Germany! 

There are some pics in the collages of the most memorable moments for me during the month. I truly recommend an exchange for everyone because at least for me, the month was amazing experience and in addition to improve my german skills I learned so much things that I couldn't learn anywhere else.

FREIBURG
1. Kaupungissa on kauniita puistoja ja puutarhoja, jonne on ihana mennä kävelemään tai ihan vain rentoutumaan.
2. Näkymä kaupunkiin läheisen kukkulan näköalapaikalta.
3. Kaupunki oli erityisen kaunis ilta-auringon paistaessa.
4. Näitä sorbetteja jään kaipaamaan. Jäätelöpallo maksoi joka paikassa vain euron ja erilaisia makuvaihtoehtoja oli runsaasti, maidottomia sorbetteja unohtamatta.

1 There are many beautiful parks and gardens in the city. It's so nice to take a little walk or just go and relax there.
2 The view of the city from the viewpoint  on the hill. 
3 Freiburg was especially beautiful when the sun was shining in the evening.
4 These sorbets are something I'm going to miss. One ice cream ball cost everywhere only an euro and there was so many various flavors, not to forget all milk free sorbets.

UUSIEN YSTÄVIEN KANSSA VIETETTY AIKA
1. 35 asteen helteessä oli pakko hakeutua veden ääreen. Helteen takia jokikin oli tosin hieman kuivunut...
2. Mikä olisi parempi tapa nauttia lämmöstä ja ystävien seurasta kuin järjestää piknik ulos varjoisaan paikkaan.
3. Sain aurinkoa viimeisen viikon aikana aurinkoa varmaan koko vuoden edestä.
4. Minunkin oli pakko maistaa uutta vesimelonin näköistä mehujäätä, joka osoittautui yllättävän herkulliseksi.

SPENDING TIME WITH FRIENDS
1 We had to get somewhere around water when it was over 35 degrees Celsius. That was also the reason why the river had dried, too... 
2 What would be a better way to enjoy the heat and spend time with friends than a picnic. 
3 There was so much sunshine especially during my last week. 
4 I had to taste this new watermelon ice pop and I was surprised how good it tasted.

SAKSALAINEN ARKI
1. Leipää tuli poikkeuksetta syötyä päivittäin, ja erityisesti viikonloppuisin leipomosta haetut vastapaistetut sämpylät saksalaisen makkaran tai marmeladin kera oli tyypillinen aamupala.
2. & 4. Perheen koiran kanssa oli kiva käydä lenkillä kauniissa ympäristössä
3. Koulun jälkeen läksyjen teon sijasta rentouduin usein pihalla kirjaa tai lehtiä lukien.

GERMAN EVERYDAY
1 I ate bread every day without any exceptions and the typical breakfast especially weekends included fresh baked rolls from the bakery with german sausage or marmalade. 
2 & 4 It was nice to walk the dog in the beautiful neighborhood.
3 After school instead of doing homework, I relaxed often reading a book or magazine in the garden. 

SCHWARZWALD
1. Olihan sitä pakko saada  virkistävä sorbetti aina kun sattui jäätelökioski matkan varrelle...
2. & 3. Käytiin yhtenä viikonloppuna kauniissa Schwarzwaldissa ja Titisee nimisellä järvellä, missä oli paljon ulkomaalaisiakin turisteja.

BLACK FOREST
1 I had to get a sorbet every time when there was an ice cream shop nearby...
2 & 3 We went to Black forest one weekend. There were many foreigners around the area and especially by the lake Titisee.
